Terno Terno Sa Disney Tokyo

I just love the fashion culture in Japan. Here in Disneysea, besties donned identical hats, shirts, bags or all of the above! In pairs, three’s, in four’s or as a big group, they all looked soooo cute!

Fashion in Tokyo Disneysea

Don’t they look so cute?

Many bought their identical head gear or shirts in the park, but there were also those who came all dolled up. Youth culture in Japan truly thrives! By itself, it’s a major attraction. Corny? Is NOT. Not here, anyway.

You may think this is the exclusive turf of ladies who dig fashion. Well, the men seem just as eager to comply 😜😂😀 The ones we found passed it off so well so perhaps, the future holds promises of  more boy groups in identical attires. I saw quite a few, but I wasn’t fast enough to snap photos. Mostly, they’re teens. Like school boys.

They say fashion is one’s articulation of culture. Well, this fashion style is truly a fun expression of how besties and romantic pairs feel for each other. Identical outfits speak volumes — try common ID, sense of belonging, even oneness. It may seem cheesy but how can you not grow fond of this? Especially when you start them young!

Life. In. Japan. The admission tickets to the Disney parks don’t come cheap. The parks are also some distance from the city center. Yet locals do patronize the parks judging by the crowd. And it’s a weekday!  You can’t help but feel entertained seeing how these young Japanese go out of their way to express themselves. Cute-sy!

About lifeisacelebration

Retired early, but still active. Very involved in celebrating life! I love traveling because I always come back with less cobwebs in my mind. It is as if I empty my mind of all clutter upon departure, and fill it with many happy memories upon arrival. I also like the idea that life is so focused on the present, and my senses are all playing to listen, feel , see, smell and taste everything novel or not so new. The fact that I only have to choose from a limited wardrobe, or use the same pair of shoes throughout my holiday , or work and survive on a single budget make life so much simpler. Sure, you sometimes get a raw deal in a few trips, or feel hassled by flight delays and cancellations, but the joys and simplicity of the present far outweigh the negatives. Oh, btw, I always end up gaining more friends after each trip. Many I kept......
